Frequently Asked Questions

  • We recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance, especially for weekends and peak seasons (March - October). Last-minute bookings are definitely possible but are not guaranteed!

  • After booking you’ll receive a booking confirmation email confirming the tour, as well as the tour details such as like meeting point, emergency contact etc. The day before your scheduled tour you’ll receive a booking reminder. Then all you have to do is show up on the day!

  • Short answer: everyone!

While the name Women of Paris reflects the focus on women’s stories, history and contributions, the experiences are not limited to any particular gender or group.

Tours are designed to be inclusive, engaging and accessible to a wide range of guests — whether you’re travelling solo, as a couple, with friends, or as a family.

  • Some tours do touch on more adult themes within French history and society (including topics such as relationships, sexuality and reproductive rights). However, children are absolutely welcome. When families or mixed groups are present, the guide will always adapt the tone and content to suit the audience, ensuring the experience remains appropriate, comfortable and enjoyable for everyone.

  • Our tours operate with a minimum of two guests. If you’re the only person booked, we’ll contact you in advance to offer alternative options — such as rescheduling to another date or joining a different tour.

If none of the alternatives work for you, you’ll receive a full refund.

  • Collaborative, honest, and straightforward. We're here to guide the process, bring ideas to the table, and keep things moving.
