An essential read for anyone interested in exploring intersectional feminism in its global scale—this nonfiction book focuses on giving voices to Parisian women previously forgotten by our patriarchal history. Additionally, author Lindsey Tramuta has another book titled The New Paris: The People, Places and Ideas Fueling a Movement. This book showcases modern Parisienne culture and highlights places to eat, drink, stay, and shop.

Venus s’épilait la chatte podcast

This podcast deconstructs the patriarchal narrative of western art history, and takes a deep dive into portrayals of women artists and women in paintings. Starting in 2019, there are a total of 11 episodes, ranging from 25 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes, all hosted by Julie Beauzac. We recommend starting with the episode on Picasso!

Looking forward to seeing you on another Women of Paris walk soon :)
